About the Author

For over 38 years, Alan Lacer has worked as a turner, teacher and writer. He is a past president of the American Association of Woodturners and his work has appeared in a number of regional and national exhibitions. He has published over 150 articles, columns and tips,and has produced five award-winning videos. In 1999 the American Association of Woodturners awarded him their Lifetime Honorary Member Award for his contributions to the field. http://woodturninglearn.net
