About the Author

Adam T. Smith is an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Chicago and co-director of the joint Armenian-American Project for the Archaeology and Geography of Ancient Transcaucasian Societies (ArAGATS). Karen S. Rubinson is a research associate in the department of anthropology at Barnard College, where she is director of the Project for Archaeological Exchange.
