About the Author

Vagif Sultanli of the literary department of Baku University and his colleague Iraj Ismaeli. Some works have never been published by have remained hidden for political reasons and may now be brought to light. It is the editors' desire to share these gems from the literary treasury of ancient and modern Azerbaijan with the rest of the free-thinking world. Ismayil Shikhli, Aziza Jafarzade, Isa Mughanna, Yusif Samadoghlu, Alisa Nijat, Anar, Sara Oghuz, and new writers such as: Saday Budagly, Rafig Taghi, Fazil Guney, Orkhan Fikratoghlu, Mubariz Jafarly, Elchin Huseynbeyli to name but a few.
