Promotional Information

The second edition of Becoming Emotionally Intelligent contains practical activities to use in the classroom but also looks at how the reader can become emotionally intelligent and teach in a way which encourages students to develop their own emotional intelligence.

About the Author

Catherine Corrie has worked with children of all ages: as a playgroup leader for under-fives; as a teacher and senior manager in primary and middle schools; and as a youth worker with adolescents.

In addition to this experience and that gained as a mother and grandmother, her writing draws on her work in counselling, NLP and Personal Development Coaching and from the training she provides in Accelerated Learning, Anger Management and Emotional Intelligence.

She delivers a variety of training, both nationally and internationally, most recently in the USA and Dubai, under the umbrella title of 'Developing an Emotionally Intelligent School'.

She has brought the same enjoyment and enthusiasm that categorises her training to her writing.
