Owen D. Pomery works in architecture and comics. He is best known for his six part miniseries Between the Billboards, and is also the creator of The Megatherium Club Vol. 1: The Great Ape, an irreverent, comedy adventure comic set in the 1800s and based on a genuine group of eccentric scientists of the time. He has been featured in several UK anthologies including Wu Wei, The Newcastle Science Comic, To Arms!, ink+PAPER and Avery Hill's Reads.
"Make no mistake, this is seriously a fabulous work, the debut of a
major talent." - Richard Bruton, Forbidden Planet International
"Pomery's drawings are crisp and precise, making great use of both
negative space and geometric patterns... but there's also a loose
sketchiness to them, as though Pomery was creating that blueprint
of what it's like to be human on the page." - Rob Clough,
High-Low
"Visually innovative, exciting, and absolutely bloody brilliant to
behold. Above all, it highlights the power of graphic novels to
deliver thought-provoking observations on society where other
mediums would fail." - Frank Plowright, Slings and Arrows
