About the Author

Zev Bechler is Professor Emeritus of History and Philosophy of Science at the Tel-Aviv University.He wrote Newton's Physics and the Conceptual Structure of the Scientific Revolution (Kluwer, 1991), Aristotle's Theory of Actuality (SUNY, 1995). He also published three lecture cycles, on the philosophy of science, the history of scientific thought, and Aristotle's theory of science ( by the IDF Broadcast University).
