About the Author

Judith Schwartz has been the Director of the Sculpture/Craft course atNew York University since 1988, and is the President on the board oftrustees at the Museum of Ceramic Art in New York. From 1984-88 she wasa professor of studio courses in Ceramic Sculpture, and has taught inArt establishments since 1964. She lectures around the world at ceramicsymposiums and exhibitions.
