About the Author

KEVIN J. HAYES is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Central Oklahoma. He is the author of Captain John Smith: A Reference Guide (1991) and co-author of Checklist of Melville Reviews (1991). He is currently reconstructing the library of William Byrd of Westover.
