Yee Guan Yap, Malaysian cardiologist, researcher. Achievements include identification of patients at high risk of sudden death after myocardial infarction and interventional cardiology. Research fellowship British Heart Foundation, 1997-1998, grantee, 1998, 2000; recipient Vale of Trent Audit prize faculty of Royal College General Practitioners, 1992. Yap, Yee Guan was born on December 19, 1967 in Mentakab, Pahang, Malaysia. Arrived in England, 1985. Bachelor in Medical Science with honors, University Nottingham, 1990.
