About the Author

Kathleen Norris is an award-winning poet, writer and author of four New York Times bestsellers. Her work is intimate and historical, rich in poetry and meditations, brimming with exasperation and reverence, deeply grounded in both nature and spirit, sometimes funny and often provocative. She lives in Hawaii. Tim Scorer writes the accompanying study guides for the Embracing series. Tim is an educator, retreat leader, and spiritual director, who lives near Vancouver, Canada. He works part time in adult faith formation at St. Andrews-Wesley United Church.
