About the Author

Tom Drury is, according to The New York Times, 'a major figure in American literature, author of a string of novels without a dud in the bunch'. Tom Drury is also the author of Hunts in Dreams, The Driftless Area, and The Black Brook. His fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, Harpers Magazine, and The Mississippi Review, and he has been named one of Granta's Best Young American Novelists. He lives in Iowa.
