About the Author

Maj Gen SP Kapoor, (Retd), VSM, after an illustrious career, spanning 38 years, in the Indian Army, was appointed as a member of the State Consumer Commission, UT, Chandigarh and he served in that capacity for 9 long years. During his tenure the Commission heard and disposed of over 7500 complaints / Appeals, of which he authored over 1500 judgements. Known for his quick grasp, deep and clear understanding of issues at hand as well as for his logical and lucid narration, he regularly contributes articles for various magazines and newspapers.
