About the Author

Kimora is professor of criminal justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. Her main areas of research are cognitive skills education, ethics, and mental health issues for those involved in the criminal justice system. Professor Kimora is also education director for El Rio, a drug treatment program within the Osborne Association in New York City.
