I recently gave this stamp set to my five year old daughter for her birthday. As with all Melissa and Doug products they arrived beautifully presented and they wooden storage box is very handy. She has been eagerly stamping and creating (we're nearly out of paper!) since she unwrapped them. The stamps themselves are very sturdy and a great size (perfect for little hands), my only criticism is that the ink pad was not fantastic, although good enough to start with. Generally speaking a great little gift for a 3-6 year old girl, I would definitely recommend it and will probably purchase it again myself

My 6-year-old daughter got this as a belated birthday gift from her uncle and she absolutely loves it. It allows another dimension to her normal art and crafts activities, and the best part is that its reusable unlike stickers and other perishables/one-offs. Also, its quite portable and can be brought along on trips etc.
