About the Author

Fr. Dale Peterka, ordained a Catholic priest in 1968, has taught in the classroom, served as a pastor and as a hospital chaplain in Cincinnati. He has written articles and made presentations about railroad history and has taught courses in photography. A member of the Great Northern Railway Historical Society for thirty three years, Fr. Dale has explored the Great Northern line between St. Paul and Seattle by car, by motorcycle, by air and by train.
