Green has always been a part of Jill Schoff's life. She learned rural arts such as canning and pickling at her grandmother's knee and, when she became the mother of an asthmatic son, she was naturally drawn to a simpler way of life that put less burden on the planet and exposed her family to fewer toxins. This is her second book.
"Parents of young children, pet owners and those just conscious of
what they put into their bodies or homes may be interested in
creating their own cleaning products. You can also save money by
making your own products, and since many of the ingredients may
already be in your kitchen cabinet, you may also save a trip to the
store. There are numerous books on the market that cover
environmentally friendly and healthier cleaning techniques.
