About the Author

Judith Schaefer is a native of South Dakota and a graduate of the University of Chicago. She married a bio-psychologist and raised two sons while engaged in research, college teaching, and later, clinical work. She is also the author of a novel titled Though the Winds Blow, several short stories, and an essay published in the Boston Sunday Globe.
