About the Author

New Orleans - based photographer David Spielman has traveled to six of the world's seven continents pursuing photographic subjects. Spielman's work has been collected in many publications, including Southern Writers (1997), Katrinaville Chronicles (2007), and When Not Performing: New Orleans Musicians (2012).
