Millennia pass and only humankind has survived - through the divine gift of prophetic dreams. Exquisitely rich and magical, this new tarot deck by digital artist Ciro Marchetti takes you into the heart of fantasy and guides you toward hope, wisdom, and inspiration. This tarot deck has been voted in number 1 in the top 10 tarot decks for 2009 at Aeclectic tarot. It is one of the most wonderfully visual tarot decks that i have seen. It is based on the Rider Waite deck so is suitable for the beginner or experienced reader. This is the third deck by artist Ciro Marchetti and i would recommend it to anyone
Lovely deck with vivid colours and expressive images. Recommended by Barbara Moore in her book 'Tarot for beginners'. Large glossy cards with a luxurious feel although I find with my small hand they were a little unwieldy as first. Images are easily identified and tell an interesting story. Accompanying booklet is easy to read and full of information. I find the cards a pleasure to handle and read.
This Tarot deck has some of the most colourful & imaginative images around. The detail and effort that has gone into designing each card is amazing. With such passion that has been devoted to these cards the beholder of the deck will be washed away with joy and enlightenment as they explore and learn about each and every card. Into tarot? I'd highly recommend this deck!
I like all of Ciro Marchetti's decks - the vivid colouring and rich visual interpretation he gives to each card is most evocative and very easy to work with. I'd vote the Divine Legacy as his crowning deck. Nearly every seeker with whom I use these remarks on their beauty - some have asked for the name of the deck because they'd like to purchase it. The accompanying book is quite good - I like to read the interpretations of different authors, so this suits me. The story Ciro tells at the beginning of the book is quite interesting, although it felt a little ungrounded. Just a few small (personal) detractions: for me, the figure on the World card will always be female, rather than the male of the Legacy deck; I resonate with the Chariot being male, rather than the Legacy's female; the Hermit is an older person, not a middle-aged man (Legacy); and the Lovers could do without 70s-style haircuts (Legacy) :) I DO like Ciro's rendition of the Devil as an attractive (tempting) young man wearing a mask, and his interpretation of the Hierophant as 'Faith'. Further, the personality (court) cards are quite riveting and never fail to give me very clear messages. All round, an excellent deck!
