Anyone bored with all of the generic, ho-hum factory-produced note cards out there on the market will be overjoyed to give/receive these colorful, distinctive and artistic cards.
Inspired by her travels to Russia, Ultman created these gorgeous Russian nesting-doll cards with dolls featuring folk-art designs of birds, vines, and small flowers on their dresses. The style evokes Russian toll paintings: Ultman's bright colors pop on these these fifteen cards, the smallest of which (3) are gift tags.
Includes: 12 cards and envelopes (4 designs repeating 3 times) plus 3 gift tags and a sticker sheet.
Furthermore, the cards are printed on the back and front. For example, if the doll has a green scarf on her head and a yellow dress, the back of the doll's head on the back of the card is green and the back of the dress is yellow on the back of the card, and features the same toll design as the front of the dress/card. Little touches such as these make this card set's overall production/design superior.
These are the most gorgeous cards! I am so glad the designs are repeated three times..that way I can keep a whole set to myself. The only hard thing with sending someone just one is that they look so cute as a set..you'd almost have to send them all one by one to the same person so that they eventually had a whole set too! The colours and designs are fantastic, so vibrant and bright, they can not help but make you smile!
