About the Author

Victor Ufnarovski was educated at Moscow University. He is a professor of Mathematics at Lund University. His main research is Algebra, in particular matrix theory and computer algebra. For many years he has been training Swedish high school students for the International Mathematical Olympiad. Jana Madjarova is a professor of mathematics at Chalmers University of -Technology in Gothenburg. She is the chair of the Swedish Mathematical -Societys olympiad committee and has been invited as a coordinator at -several recent IMO competitions.
