About the Author

Hugh Allen is a self-proclaimed social scientist who has long been fascinated with the mind and its power to effect change. Several years ago Hugh came to the realization that his life had many of the trappings that he thought he wanted but none of the gratification that he thought would come with it. Through meditation and mindfulness he was able to quiet the noise, re-connect with his core and recognize what was truly important. Since then Hugh has been passionate about coaching others on how to simplify their lives and reclaim their peace. His interests include personal transformation, spiritual development, physical and emotional health and well-being. He has practiced meditation for over fifteen years and leads an informal group of meditation and yoga enthusiasts. In his spare time, Hugh collects vintage music and music paraphernalia and is a regular at local flea markets and estate sales.
