About the Author

Lisa Archer is the owner and creative director of Pickle Pie Designs, a line of more than 350 embroidery designs that are sold through the website www.PicklePieDesigns.com, and a collection of 30+ embroidery design collections that are sold in retail fabric and sewing stores. She exhibits her line of designs at both spring and fall International Quilt Market, VDTA/SDTA, BERNINA University and Baby Lock Tech. She writes a regular column in Creative Machine Embroidery magazine tiled "In the Hoop," and have been featured in several other publications including Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine, BERNINA's Holiday Look Book 2013, Generation Q magazine, SQE Professional and BERNINA's WeAllSew blog. She is also a Craftsy Class Instructor with a class entitled "Applique your Knits with Machine Embroidery," and she is a BERNINA Brand Ambassador
