Reviews

A must read book. Should be made into a movie. Hollywood pay attention! Ms. Steinberg succeeds and overcomes all the trials and tribulations life throws out. Very few people can accomplish such a feat - and with success and doing it all her way. R. Sokol Spiegel, Spanish/English Translator, CID USAR CARIB
A remarkable woman tells her story, one of confronting and surmounting adversities that would have broken many. Treva Turner, Librarian, Library of Congress, retired
No warm welcome blanket swaddled Roslynne upon her arrival here. She was swatted; she cried for her very first time; and she discerned that this must be the stuff of life here. Growing up in the Bronx among a group of loving, though somewhat dysfunctional, relatives who 'took her in' she learned that # 1 They loved her as much as they had time for, and # 2 She was on her own. This is a book of timeline family, a gutsy story about peaks and valleys in a life, and a religiously written diary about reinvention - perhaps inspired by her first cry - "I am here!" An honest friend, mentor, and an inspiration to me and others, Roslynne personifies Chutzpah! Enjoy! Carla Czybora, Retired - SunTrust Bank, Atlanta, GA
