Cartoonist..RUPERT FAWCETT..began creating cartoons with a specific
dog theme in response to a request from a greetings card
manufacture. Rupert set himself the challenge of drawing a new

Italy, Czechoslovakia and Germany. Rupert is the creator of FRED
Created in 1989, FRED cartoons made their first appearance on a
series of greeting cards and now, with more than 700 designs and
growing, sales currently exceed 8 million cards... The cartoons
were also picked up by MIDWEEK magazine, who ran them for two
years, following which they appeared for a further four years in
the MAIL ON SUNDAY.
