Reviews

"Human rights and freedom of religion are guaranteed by international law. If they do not exist in daily reality for practitioners of Falun Gong they have no meaning in the grandly worded charters of human freedom." Hon. Jason Kenney, Canadian Secretary of State for Multiculturalism "This book is a must-read for anyone who wishes to see the real workings of modern Chinese society." Wang, Juntao, Ph.D., Specialist on modern Chinese issues; 1989 Democratic Movement Leader "The simple yet powerful writing of the authors has reflected well the stories met by Mr. Bai Shao-hua's family as they uphold a truthful and pure path in persevering their belief. While it gives the reader sadness and grief, at a much deeper level it is able to allow one to come to a realization of the true meaning of life." Xin, Haonian, Senior Historian and Chief Editor, Huang Hua Gang magazine Using the real-life story met by Bai Shaohua's family, this book expounds one of the most influential events in modern Chinamillions of ordinary Chinese citizens are disintegrating the evil Chinese Communist Party's lies and the regime itself using their compassion, perseverance and wisdom obtained through their cultivation in Falun Gong. -- Fang, Han, Director of Global Reporting department -- the Epoch Times Being in exile myself due to the Tiananmen Incident, I can deeply appreciate Shaohua's experiences, faced with enemies all around you who, like hungry lions, pounce on any food that they can find. At this time, any slight backstep you take helps the evil ones accomplish their heinous deeds. In pursuing truth, there is no retreat. One can only march forward. -- Zhang, Jian, Democratic Movement leader, Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition Annual Conference leader, Federation for a Democratic China leader
