Dr. J. David Gillespie holds the title of Dana Professor of Political Science, Emeritus, at Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC). He served on the Political Science faculty at Presbyterian and as the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Gillespie was selected as the Camegie-CASE South Carolina Professor of the Year in 1993 and he was a Fulbright Professor at the University of Tartu in Estonia in 1997. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Kent State University.
