This is an amazing read. Some people have mentioned that Feehan has written to much detail and that it detracts from the overlying story which is:
1. Romance between Thorn and Sam
2. Taking down Whitney

But I would have to disagree, the plethora of information on psychic workings as well as the animal enhancements, not mention the detailed account of a Samurai's lends an appealing and different quality to the Ghost Walker series. I also love how Feehan mentions the other Ghost Walker characters especially the Norton twins and their mates. But I would like to note that the sex scenes in this particular book is quite tame compared to the others; she might have written it this way as a testament to the laid back nature of the characters and the easy relationship between the protagonists. Compared to Ken and Mari's tempestuous relationship, the main characters have a very easy connection. Overall, this book completes the circle of girls that Whitney abuses, thus making it an integral part of the Ghostwalker series.
