About the Author

Jim Ledin is a civilian aerospace engineer for the U.S. Navy at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu, CA. During more than 17 years there, he has worked on all phases of simulation, including digital and HIL simulation for the test and evaluation of air-to-air and surface-to-air missile systems. The principal simulation developer for three HIL simulation laboratories, Ledin provides simulation-related consulting services and has contributed to Embedded Systems magazine and Dr. Dobb's Journal.
