About the Author

Sally Gall has exhibited widely throughout the U.S. Her work is featured in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the San Francisco Museum of Art. She is the recipient of several awards and fellowships, and is the author of one previous book, The Water's Edge. Mark Strand is the author of ten collections of poetry, as well as several non-fiction works, and has been awarded numerous prizes and fellowships, including serving as Poet Laureate of the U.S. in 1990. Nan Richardson has authored several books and writes for such publications as The Los Angeles Times and Artforum. She has also curated numerous photographic exhibitions.
