About the Author

Melinda Roman is a wife and a mother of four daughters. She currently resides on the Gulf Coast of North West Florida with her husband and youngest daughter. When her girls were young she would write poems and short stories for them. Later when she became a language arts teacher she would write and share poems with her class. Reading and writing children's poetry has been a lifelong passion. Today she spends her time enjoying the beautiful NW Florida beaches, writing and practicing yoga!
