About the Author

Gerard Benson is a poet, story-teller, singer and performer. He is one of the team which runs the 'Poets on the Underground' project. Evidence of Elephants was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. He also edited an outstanding anthology, This Poem Doesn't Rhyme, which won the Signal poetry award in 1991.
