About the Author

Robert Weil is a former teacher in the University of California Santa Cruz, U.S.A., and has studied the revolutionary, national liberation and popular struggles in South and East Asia for the past half century. He has been a lifelong activist in struggles for civil and labour rights, anti-militarism, the environment, international solidarity and revolutionary socialist transformation.
