Artistic genius, political activist, painter and decorator, mythic legend or notorious graffiti artist? The work of Banksy is unmistakable, except maybe when it's squatting in the Tate or New York's Metropolitan Museum. Banksy is responsible for decorating the streets, walls, bridges and zoos of towns and cites throughout the world. Witty and subversive, his stencils show monkeys with weapons of mass destruction, policeman with smiley faces, rats with drills and umbrellas. If you look hard enough, you'll find your own. His statements, incitements, ironies and epigrams are by turns intelligent and cheeky comments on everything from the monarchy and capitalism to the war in Iraq and farm animals. His identity remains unknown, but his work is prolific. Here's the best of his work in a fully illustrated colour volume - including brand material.

Reviews
"Witty and thought-provoking, his images excite and infuriate in equal measure. Already a classic" www.shortlist.com "This is work that must be witnessed, lived with, taken to heart, and re-enacted in the name of 'Freedom'" Rain Taxi Review of Books
Graffiti at its best! Showing the world that it is hard to create mindless vandalism. Fulled with Banksy work and writing about all of the piece. This book is a beautiful visual creation and it should be seen and read by all graffiti artists and art lovers.
Witty and able to thumb his nose at lots of political icons. A thinking person's picture book. Bought it for a 15 year old who loved and I also loved it and I am 73. What better bridge could you have. Banksy has made graffiti an art form.
Excellent and inspiring. More than a simple coffee table book, this offers a compelling insight into the mind of Banksy, a Bristol (UK) born graffiti artist and social revolutionary.
If you are tired of consumerism, greedy corporates and the plain vanilla of society, then this is the book for you...great fun and a stirring read
WoW! this book takes you into a silent world which really screams out for justice! Sharply observant, political, and intelligently hilarious. Couldn't put it down the first time, and still can't walk past the coffee table without picking it up for a quick peruse!
Great picture book and got lots of laughs out of it. however I would have enjoyed some more text to go with it. I thought its a little on the expensive side for a soft cover but there are lots of pictures which are expensive to produce. Would recommend buying.
