James Van Keuren is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Ashland University in Ohio. He has worked in the public education sector for 30 years as a teacher, principal, superintendent, assistant state superintendent, and interim state superintendent for the Ohio Department of Education.
Dr. Keuren's book provides practical advice, reads quickly, and is
very approachable. As such, it may be worthwhile for those who are
