From the Author THROUGH MY PORTAL I have learned that when a new door opens or in my case a portal, nothing can prepare you for what is on the other side. You just have to close your eyes, hold on tight to your friends and face it together. Just know that with good friends and family anything is possible. My dad pushed and pulled me, sometimes more than I liked, through my own door/portal into writing books. I was lucky that he stepped through the portal with me. Sophia About the Author The Wielders books are written by a father-daughter team, Lucas McWilliams and Sophia McWilliams (age 12). They get up together early each morning before the sun rises to write down the stories that fill their dreams.
