Paul Cornell takes British X-man Pete Wisdom and gives him a motley team to face the imminent invasion of Albion by Faerie. It doesn't help hugely that one of his team is Tinkerbell, rebel daughter of the king of the fairies and sometimes Pete's lover. A fun mini-series, but the whole thing is stolen by the character of John the Skrull, a shape-changing alien ex-invader who's adopted the shape and most of the attitude of John Lennon. Leads more or less into Cornell's Captain Britain series.
