Reviews

"Woman in Darkness effectively strikes the elusive balance between the deeply erotic and the literary by exploring controversial themes with maturity."-Foreword Reviews; "'Woman in Darkness' is, in essence, a fascinating story of a man's inability to deal with his lover's hidden past."-Tony's Reading List; "This is an uncomfortably well-written novel, the contrast between its tone and the dark realities particularly effective. 'Woman in Darkness' is unsettling, but it's well-crafted and well-written, a disturbingly easy read."-Michael Orthofer, The Complete Review; "Luisge Martin opens up his soul through his original, authentic and impulsive characters. An author in search of intelligent readers unafraid to explore the most torrid depths of human desire." -ABC; "Luisge Martin descends into the abyss of love and sex in 'Woman in Darkness', a hypnotic and breathless tale, which brings to mind the stories of Tanizaki." -Manuel Rodriguez Rivero, Babelia, El Pais; "Brilliantly written, expertly plotted, it keeps readers on their toes, all with enough tension and intrigue of a great detective novel."-Julian Gallo, Desvario
