Olivia Newport's novels twist through time to find where faith and passions meet. Her husband and twentysomething children provide welcome distraction from the people stomping through her head on their way into her books. She chases joy in stunning Colorado at the foot of Pikes Peak.
This is not just an Amish fiction book. This is also a historical fiction novel. This is not a fluffy, feel-good book that is typical to the Amish fiction genre. There is a lot of depth to it. The ending had me completely shocked and slightly distressed. I thought about this book for days after finishing it. This book is one to read and remember.--Stephanie Rollins "Book Reviews R US" (9/23/2014 12:00:00 AM)
