Di Berold is a teacher who has taught in Montreal, Sydney and Melbourne at senior secondary and tertiary levels. Many of the ideas in this book have been trialled in her classes. She has co-authored two books on writing, Points in Time and Points of Departure as well as publishing articles on Year Twelve texts. Di lives with her husband and son in Melbourne.
