Gor bloimey guvnor! Mario and Sonic are coming to London to take part in the Olympic Games! Well, not for real, of course, but the third in their Olympic series sees the usual array of classic Nintendo and Sega characters coming together again to face off against each other for the gold medal – and they'll need your help as always.
As usual there's a wide range of events to play using a combination of WiiMote and Wii Balance Board. Whether you prefer the immediacy and speed of the 100m Dash or the beauty of Rhythmic Gymnastics, there's a sport for everyone no matter what their level of ability. New events for this latest game include Football, Badminton and Equestrian. Players get to experience all sports in the official venues for the 2012 London Olympics.
As well as the regular sports, there's also the return of the Dream Events, alternate versions that take place in locations from older games in the Mario and Sonic series. Also new for this year is the introduction of co-op games and an all-important Party Mode. If you're ready for the 2012 Games, this is the perfect accompaniment; all you need to do is pick a side, pick and sport and get ready to go for gold!
