Cyanide, a studio that has spent the last ten years refining the cycling simulation experience with Pro Cycling Manager on PC, is taking you right into the thick of it with le Tour de France.

This 2012 update offers a richer, improved experience for the more discerning gamer (and professional cycling enthusiast). There will also be a large number of new novelties that will please all fans of cycling. Simulation and action are blended together, with a campaign mode that sees you play as a professional cyclist working their way to the top of the pack.

It’s not just about you, though. You need to get the best out of your team mates and form alliances with other teams to ensure victory in a particular stage. You could, of course, not do that at all though and do epic cycling battle for the famous Yellow Jersey instead. In total, there are 21 stages to tackle in le Tour de France 2012 - each as varied and interesting as the last.
