This is a pretty good film though it is very sad. This sadness may seem over the top sometimes - people often call films like this "tearjerkers" and are a bit dismissive of them. Still, this one is based on the true story of a family whose son was diagnosed with a terrible genetic degenerative disease, ALD, and went from being bright and happy to suddenly unable to properly talk or move.
