The complete first series of the Dublin-set sitcom depicting the life and times of Mrs Agnes Brown (played by writer/director Brendan O'Carroll) and her unruly brood. In this series, preparations for Maria (Fiona O'Carroll)'s wedding are well underway and Mrs Brown is looking forward to the upcoming nuptials. Unfortunately, the groom is less than enamoured with the whole idea. Episodes comprise: 'The Mammy', 'Mammy's Secret', 'Mammy's Merchandise', 'Mammy Rides Again', 'Mammy of the Groom' and 'Mammy's Miracle'.

This would have to be one of the funniest series to come out of the UK. The BBC broadcast this in the UK in 2010. Mrs Brown is hillariously funny and her family are all a bit quirky. I'm unsure what Australia will rate Mrs Brown's Boys, as there is a fair bit of swearing.
Buy this DVD and I guarantee she'll have you in fits of laughter within seconds of watching the show. I understand a second series being produced and I'll be the first one to buy it when it comes out!
