This is one of my five year olds favourite board games. He loves the spiders and is always trying to talk some one into playing with him. This game is great as it encourages recognition of shapes and colours. It also helps with children who have trouble waiting their turn. It is also great for counting practice too.
This is another fantastic orchard game, and like other Orchard games, it has the long lasting thick card pieces that are very sturdy and stand up to repeated use. The game pieces are cute, hard to lose because of their size and as each child has their own game board that are colour coded, there aren't any argument about whose counter belongs to whom. An easy game to play, it reinforces simple addition and shapes, and children can play this in small groups of 2 to 4 children.
