A close-fitting bodice is highlighed by a narrow "V" neckline. Front bodice and skirt gather into a curved midriff that ties at centre front, providing snug individual fit. A fitted back hip yoke ensures a smooth line. The flarred skirt drapes gracefully at centre front and back bias seams. The three-quarter length sleeves are distinctively gathered at the elbow. Dress zips at left side seam. Shoulder pads are essential for the proper early 1940's silhouette.
