Carol Beckerman is a freelance food writer and enthusiastic cook with more than forty years' experience, and is the author of 500 Breakfasts & Brunches (Apple, April 2011). Having run the kitchen for a traditional English pub, she now chooses to cook and bake for local restaurants as well as run her own website devoted to dairy-free cooking.

Since falling in love with the Moose Munch brand of luxury caramel corn while living in California, Carol has devoted her talents to the development of gourmet popcorn, finding that everyone - whether at movie nights, block parties or even sophisticated supper clubs - loved her sweet and salty snacks. Equipped with more than forty years' culinary experience, Carol is passionate about bringing flavours from around the world together in innovative and exciting combinations, and in particular to fuse these elements into her popcorn in simple, easy-to-follow recipes.
