Reviews

"I'm thankful for Matthew Kim's 7 Lessons for New Pastors. Matthew is a wise, patient, sympathetic guide. His counsel is practical, down-to-earth, and rooted in personal experience. I'm currently reading through the book with a ministry intern and we're finding that the book stimulates many helpful discussions."
--Stephen Witmer, Lead Pastor of Pepperell Christian Fellowship and author of A Big Gospel in Small Places

"In 7 Lessons for New Pastors, my friend and colleague Dr. Matthew D. Kim has written a book that will inspire, challenge, and empower a new generation of leaders called by God to ministry in the local church. Honest and vulnerable, accessible and concise, infused with practical know-how and deep reflection, this book is a must-read for every new pastor or seminarian in training. What a gift to the church and the classroom!"
--Jared E. Alcántara, Associate Professor of Preaching, Baylor's Truett Theological Seminary, and author of The Practices of Christian Preaching
