Promotional Information

The A-10 first saw combat in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, and with the success of the aircraft in attacking Iraqi ground forces, it survived a push within the USAF to remove the jet from the inventory. Since Desert Storm, the A-10 has undergone a significant series of upgrades, placing the 'Warthog', as it is affectionately known, at the leading edge of CAS.
