About the Author

Troshaunda Elie is a passionate feminist and protector of women's rights. She believes that every woman has the potential for greatness, and she endeavors to show young girls that they can have a family and a career.

Elie herself has both. She's a military wife and the proud mother of two boys. She also has a master's degree in criminal justice and experience as an instructor for future criminal justice professionals.
